Culpepper Garden residents have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities to meet their diverse interests — both on site and through trips arranged to nearby locations. These activities include:
- exercise classes;
- special events;
- armchair travel;
- trivia and current events discussions;
- guest performances;
- church services and activities;
- sing-alongs;
- birthday parties;
- holiday parties;
- bingo; and
- bowling.
Residents Association
All our residents are members of Culpepper Garden’s active Residents Association, which has no dues. This group works through volunteer committees and plays a proactive role in improving life at Culpepper Garden. The association:
- runs the gift shop;
- publishes a monthly newsletter;
- sponsors activities and outings;
- works with staff on menus and other services; and
- welcomes new residents.
Arlington County Senior Adult Recreation Center
Culpepper Garden has maintained a strong relationship with Arlington County since we opened, and the Senior Center is an important part of this bond.
The Senior Center organizes a huge variety of activities, from walking clubs to Spanish classes to tai chi lessons. Programs fees are minimal; many are free. View a schedule of activities.
