Staying Independent

Our residents want to live as independently as possible. Culpepper Garden supports this goal with an array of services designed to make daily living easier:
-
daily dinner service — taste, nutrition and special dietary needs are the basis for the evening meal served restaurant-style to all residents in our dining room.
-
daily breakfast — optional.
- daily lunch — optional.
- housekeeping— we can help residents arrange cleaning and laundry assistance.
-
maintenance — support is available for more difficult chores like washing windows or hanging pictures.
-
home management — service coordinators can organize help with bills, checking accounts, setting up telephone service and more.

Our residents are low and moderate income. Their rent is based on their annual income — but often they need extra help to cover daily expenses like meals and medications.
We count on the generosity of donors to subsidize these essentials, as well as for longer-term expenses, such as vital safety upgrades to our buildings.
